Tanya is a registered psychologist who is currently completing a Masters in Clinical Psychology with the University of New England.  Tanya has worked in various public and private settings, including headspace, the Department of Justice and Community Safety, the Department of Education and Training, Assessments Australia, and in private practice. 

Tanya has experience working across the lifespan, and enjoys working with children, adolescents, and their families.  Tanya has a special interest in supporting clients to address anxiety and depression, emotional dysregulation, self-harm and suicidal ideation, interpersonal issues, and behavioural concerns.

Tanya has extensive experience working with people with a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder, and has specialised training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).  Tanya assisted in establishing the DBT program at headspace Knox, and now works in the DBT team at St. John of God – Pinelodge Clinic.

Tanya is passionate about helping her clients to achieve their health and wellbeing goals, and delivers various evidence-based therapies in a client-centred, warm, and nurturing manner.  Some of these evidence-based approaches include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), DBT, schema therapy, and Mindfulness approaches.

When Tanya is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising, being amongst nature, walking her dog, and discovering all the hidden gems that Victoria has to offer.
