Ashlee Rahmani

Psychologist

Ashlee is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who has completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical). She has experience working in clinical and educational settings across both public and private sectors, including adult community mental health teams, schools, and private practice.

Ashlee enjoys working with individuals of all ages who are navigating challenges at home, at school/work or in their social circles. Ashlee commonly works with people who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, unresolved trauma, and relationship issues, including parenting work. Ashlee also conducts neurodivergence and developmental assessments including autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and learning disorders (dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia).

Ashlee tailors evidence-based therapies to individual clients, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and elements of schema therapy and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT). She understands that seeking psychological support can be unnerving and overwhelming, so she is committed to creating a warm, compassionate, and safe environment to facilitate meaningful change.

She works collaboratively with clients to build their understanding of themselves, and resilience for future challenges that may arise. Ashlee believes we all have the inner resources to thrive and that we are far more than what we have experienced.
