Jodie Wood is a registered Psychologist with over 20 years of experience. She is currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology (Post Registration). Jodie has worked in a range of settings including private practice, community-based family counselling (Connections UnitingCare), and perinatal mental health services (The Gidget Foundation and Mums Matter Psychology). She has experience in assessment and treatment of many issues including anxiety and mood disorders, neurodevelopmental concerns, behavioural difficulties, developmental trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief and loss, adjustment to parenting, attachment, and interpersonal difficulties. 

Jodie’s therapeutic approach is underpinned by the core values of empathy and compassion, creating a safe and accepting space for clients to feel understood and supported. Jodie is passionate about providing collaborative, evidence-based care that is tailored to support the needs of children, adolescents, and families. She draws on a range of psychological frameworks, including Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), assisting families to make meaningful changes and improve their quality of life.
